G2LD designed the sanctuary lighting for the extensive restoration of this historic Plantersville, Texas church. The complex renovation involved literally cutting the rural church in half and stretching it 30 feet in order to add additional square footage. Since keeping the historic character was of utmost importance, period-appropriate pendants with modern day lamping and output were chosen for lighting above the pews. New LED fixtures to light the altar area were hidden in custom housings on the backside of the columns and in the rose windows, so that they remained hidden from view while beautifully illuminating the architecture.
